We are saying, “ I don’t have the strength in and of myself to make it through these circumstances… but God does. When we say, “God help me,” we are acknowledging that, above all else, we are dependent upon God. Fill my life with your power.įather, I put my faith in you, knowing that you hear my prayers and love to respond when I pray. Lord, I ask that you would please strengthen me. I am asking for you to meet me in this time of need. God, please help me during this hard time. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. In the Bible, you promise to help us when we pray to you. God, even though I don’t know all the answers, I know that you do.
